Chapter 8

After learning about language and how different things can change the way you percieve things made me thankful that I have all my speech in check. But now I second guess my memories. I wonder if they are actually what happened or when I retrieved them they changed. So it is harder to tell stories that use to be so clear to me. Also when I found out about the splitting of the corpus collsum I thought of my best friend. She has been having major siezures and can't seem to get them to stop. I thought of how this procedure might help her, then thought how it would not be something she wanted just from knowing that you can't speak what you see on your left side and can only draw it. And I know that it is not how she would want to live. But it was interesting to learn about how it has helped save many people's life in the past. I really enjoyed this chapter.
